Everywhere there is a restaurant name 大樹頭(Under the big tree), because it sounds more traditional and classic.

Heng Kee Restaurant is at Batang Kali, a row or shop lots just besides Econsave(Batang Kali), about 25km from Gohtong Jaya, Genting. The dishes are nice, and price is very reasonable. 8 adults with 4 dishes cost about RM70.

Sweet potato leaves 番薯葉

Seong Kee Hakka Young Tau Foo

This shop is located at the Medan Selera PJ old town (3.087479, 101.646113). It is a small food court, hot during sunny day. Not many parking space available, you can park further at Jalan 4/43. Just a few steps away from bus station Jalan Othman.

Hakka Dapu Abacus 算盤子

You hardly find this hakka abacus elsewhere. Not everyone like it, and time consuming to prepare it. It is made by taro (yam), hard to get good taro. This hakka dapu abacus is quite nice.

Yong Tau Foo

I can guarantee you can find better Yong Tau Foo elsewhere.

Will I come back again? Yes, to try out vinegar pork knuckle and other dishes.

DST 大樹頭 Petaling Jaya

Today we go DST 大樹頭 Petaling Jaya for lunch, just opened for 10 days. The restaurant is near Sin Chew Jit Po headquarters (3.117871, 101.629112), besides the Green View Restaurant.

Smoke duck, not good.

Port knuckle, not bad

Total 8 of us, ordered quite a number of dishes, small portion, just for try. About RM25 per person. Average rating is 7.5/10.

Will come back again? Yes.

Wantan Mee at Chan Meng Kee Restaurant SS2 PJ

Chan Meng Kee Restaurant is famous for char-siew wantan mee (bbq pork dumpling noodles), it is located at SS2, same row at the DiGi store shop. Since there is quite a few restaurant around SS2, quite a lot of cars around. Be patient, you should be able to find a parking here.

For the rating. The noodle, bbq pork (char-siew) is nice. The dumplings are just so so.

Ah Khai Char Siew Rice at Sea Park

Is the food explore session after the breakfast gathering.

This time we came to Simon Delight at Sea Park, just opposite the Sea View Restaurant. There is a stall inside the Simon Delight Restaurant call Ah Khai Chicken Rice. The Char Siew here is nice, must try.

One of the best Char Siew near Sea Park and Paramount Garden, Petaling Jaya. 

Not many parking around this restaurant. Simon Delight is not that crowded at Sea View Restaurant, but the Char Siew Rice here is worth a try.

The look might not be that good but taste is good. It could be too soft for some people.

The Chicken Rice stall came out in Sunday Star as well.

Mushroom Farm Restaurant at Genting 2009

The dishes at Mushroom Fram Restaurant (Genting) is delicious, price is reasonable. Recommend to try when next time you go Genting.
